This Spring & Summer we’re excited to be offering a couple opportunities for riders wanting to grow their horsemanship in ranch riding and ranch reining.

🤠 Ranch & Rein Thursdays
Every Thursday evening from 6–8pm, we host relaxed group sessions focused on practical ranch riding and ranch reining skills in a laid back, encouraging environment. These evenings are designed to be affordable, educational, and fun — a great way to get extra saddle time, work on maneuver details, and ride with like-minded people.

We’ll be working on things such as:
• Ranch riding transitions
• Circles & body control
• Lead departures & lead changes
• Spins & pivots
• Pattern navigation & show preparation

In addition, we’ll also be hosting a more in-depth 2-Day Ranch Reining Clinic on June 6–7. This clinic format will allow riders more time for individualized instruction, maneuver breakdowns, refinement work, and a deeper understanding of the “why” behind the training.

Whether you’re just getting started, preparing for competition, or simply wanting to become a better horseman, we’d love to have you join us.

⭐️ This clinic is designed for riders looking to improve their reining maneuvers within the Ranch Reining class, as well as cow horse competitors wanting to strengthen their Rein work.

⭐️ We’ll break down each maneuver in detail—circles, speed control, spins, lead changes, stops and rundowns—with a focus on building consistency and control that carries over into the show pen.

⭐️ In addition to the training side, we’ll cover practical show strategies and exercises to help keep your horse honest and confident under pressure.

⭐️ Competing at a high level in today’s industry, Dana helps riders bridge the gap between practicing maneuvers and performing them in the show pen. He also brings a sharp eye and valuable perspective as a former NRHA and NRCHA judge, helping riders understand not just how to do the maneuver correctly—but how it will be evaluated in competition.

⭐️ Clinic is $200 per rider. Max 10 riders. Non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve a spot.

🎉Great job to Heather Burton and her handsome gelding Cee Town! This duo marked a personal best score of 70 twice yesterday, and finishing top 10 in the Green Reiner, and Rookie 1 and 2 classes -- securing paychecks in both deep competitions!

⭐️ Really proud of Heather and Cee Town.
In a big ISHSA Ranch Riding class of 20+ horses, they came away 3rd under one judge and 6th under the other.
Same run—solid work, no matter how you see it. 👍
