⭐️ This advancing beginner/intermediate clinic focuses on the essential fundamentals every Western horse and rider need—regardless of discipline. Drawing from a proven training program and years of success developing and showing horses, Dana will help riders build a stronger foundation, improve communication and confidence, and take home practical tools they can continue using long after the clinic. Come learn, improve, and have a lot of fun doing it!

⭐️ Topics may include: Rider position and effective cueing ▪️ Developing softness and responsiveness ▪️ Guiding and neck reining ▪️ Shoulder and hip control ▪️ Two-tracking ▪️ Upward and downward transitions ▪️ Correct leads and lope departures ▪️ Better backing ▪️ Balanced stops and rollbacks ▪️ Tack and equipment

⭐️ Clinic is $100 per rider. Pre-payment is required to reserve your spot. Start time is 9am.

There's something special about seeing owners get on a horse they've trusted you to develop.

Dan and his daughter Katie came out today to spend some time with their handsome 3 yr old gelding Fergus, and seeing the smiles after their rides made my day. Fergus has come a long way over the past year, and it's rewarding to watch him grow into a confident, willing young horse with a solid foundation.

The best part? They're just as excited about where he's headed next. Fergus will be staying in training as we continue building on that foundation, taking the time it takes to create a horse that's not just talented today, but dependable for years to come.

Our goal isn't to finish horses fast—it's to build them right. A solid reining foundation creates a better partner, no matter the discipline.

This Thursday at 𝑹𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉 & 𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒏, we're going to spend most of our time working on spins and pivots.

Whether you're building the foundation, polishing your horse's maneuverability, or trying to improve cadence, correctness, and responsiveness, we'll cover the exercises that help create better spins and pivots.

As always, Ranch & Rein is flexible. While spins and pivots will be our main focus, if there's another area you'd like to work on, we'll make time for that too.
