Kansas Labrador Puppies

Our yellow female, Vegas, came to live with us in 2004 when she was 8 weeks old and she was not much more than a little ball of fur. I spent countless hours training her, hunting and rehearsing the big air. Vegas had 15 wonderful puppies that mostly went to family and friends. One of which was a little black female runt which we kept and named Marlee. Vegas and Marlee were best friends for almost

a decade. They shared countless adventures and saw most of the state of Kansas. Vegas and Marlee shared a dual (blind) retrieve of a 25 pound turkey out of the freezing and iced over Ninnescah River. Marlee had 15 puppies of her own and most went to family and friends. At the age of 11, Vegas left us in September. There is a deep hole in our hearts that she used to warm and she is missed terribly. Marlee definitely misses her mom. But the legacy of the Kansas Labrador Puppies lives on through Vegas' 30 wonderful pups.
