Emily's Legacy Rescue Emily's Legacy Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which is foster based animal rescue. The purpose to help displaced animals find forever homes.

ELR depends on foster homes to be able to pull animals from Animal Services Center to help save lives. In foster homes, the animals learn how to live in a home. Fosters work with house breaking, crate training, etc. The animals are fully vetted and we learn more about their personalities that being in a shelter environment doesn't really do. We learn if they are good with other dogs, cats, kids, e

ADOPTION EVENTS TODAY---Petco 12 til 4 and Pet Supplies Plus 12 to 4. This little guy is Tairn-Ado. He is 4 months old, and he is fully vetted, ready to go to his forever home/family. He is just a loving/friendly/happy lap boy. It does take him a few days to warm up to new people/places, but when he is feeling comfortable, his full personality shines through. He loves his toys and is very food motivated. Canned food and TREATS will win this little guy over. Tairn-Ado will be at Petco today, 12 til 4. Come by and visit this sweet little man.

Hi, I am Shaq. I was sprung from the City of Wichita Falls Animal Services today. When I was getting microchipped, I started panting and breathing hard. I was taken to the vet to update shots and get tested. The vet did x-rays to see what could be going on. Well, some idiotic people who think shooting animals is okay got me with two bb pellets still in me. One went into one lung and one in my abdomen. I am healing and it looks like this happened a little while. I still got shots and I was a big boy about it. I am one sweet boy deserving of a home I will be cherished in. The ones who hurt me need to be very afraid of those who pulled me today. They aren't as forgiving as I am. They are fuming anyone would want to hurt me.

Lionel is our Pet of the Week and was so little when we pulled him from the city. He is about 12 weeks old now and just so sweet and loving. He loves to cuddle but also likes playtime. He has the cutest tail too.
