‼️‼️We would like to announce the pet of the month for March, Scout! Congratulations to Scout and his fantastic owners the Vand Der Wielen family! Scout will receive a free grooming and his photo posted in the shop!
Stacey Scout's owner writes "Scout is the youngest of four, and according to his siblings he is the most spoiled too. Scout is 8 years old and he is a pure bred Golden Retriever. Scout loves to go for walks, loves it when family comes over to visit, and loves going camping whether he goes with us or to his camp with friends. Scout’s favorite snack is carrots. I have always done Scouts grooming, until we put in a tub for our special needs son, that he was not able to use. We are so thankful to have found K-9. Rachel has been amazing with him from his first day of both of us being newbies to grooming him into a pro ( and me feeling totally at ease). I was not prepared for the day that Scout would have a seizure outside the home, but he couldn’t have been in more capable hands. Scout was terrified and I was a wreck but Rachel was amazing and calm and helped both of us get to the vehicle so that I could safely get to the vet. She checked in on us later that night. Scout is now on seizure medication. I again was not prepared for how scared he would be for his next visit, but Rachel was and she calmed him to have a happy grooming session so that he was his proud self when it was time to leave. We are so thankful for K-9 it’s not just about grooming!❤️
Scout's story is a great example of the importance of a trusting and consistent relationship for grooming, as well as open and honest communication at all times! Thank you for trusting us with Scout's grooming needs! We appreciate you very much!
