NYC Second Chance Rescue is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit animal rescue founded in 2009 on the unwavering belief that all animals deserve love and compassion. We are a lifeline for thousands of dogs and cats in need of urgent medical care, and arrive in critical condition from neglect or abuse. We do our best to give them the second chance they deserve. innovative ways to reduce animal overpopulation in shelters, rescue and rehabilitate critically injured and neglected animals, and connect the community to services that enable animals to remain in their homes.
