Introducing our foster dog Obi!

Obi is a 1.5 year old boxer-pit mix. He is approx 65 lbs. He walks very nicely on a leash and doesn’t mind the crate - he will complain for a few minutes and then fall asleep. Obi LOVES other dogs! He is so excited to play, but not all dogs feel the same way about him because of his exuberance. Our senior dogs, for example, scold him when he tries to play and that makes him sad. Obi loves everyone he has met - we took him to Harvest Day and he had a great time meeting people and other dogs (and eating all the food that had been dropped on the ground!).

As a puppy Obi was crated all the time until his owners surrendered him to a shelter in Philly. He never learned how to be outside a crate until he came to us. He has made huge progress in the month that we have had him! His ideal family would continue to work with him to help him become the best boy he can be!

Please help us get the word out about Obi. Anyone interested in meeting him can DM us or submit an application at
