Stewart update: he’s doing good. No more vomiting and his appetite is back. He’s weaned off the animal hospital medications and eating his regular diet (not the added fruits and veggies and heavy metal detox smoothie just yet but soon). The animal hospital vet suspected he has kidney disease and that was perhaps causing his symptoms. We didn’t do invasive testing to find out for sure because any treatments would be too much for him. He’s basically on comfort care and he only wants minimally invasive treatment. Our vet warned us last year that, as his diseases progresss, he will just have these emergency situations to contend with until he cannot any longer. So, for now, we enjoy his time here. And feel blessed he’s like a cat with 9 lives! Thanks to all who sent prayers and healing vibes to Stew. It really helps him; I have no doubt! 💖

I just want to give a shout out to Earthly Insights for helping Stewart! 💚 It’s great to have collegues to help us out when we can be too close to a situation with our own animals. Kim connected with him and he shared about an irritation on his right back paw on the top. Sure enough, under all his fur was a small black scab or maybe insect piece. We removed it, got it all cleaned up and will keep an eye on it. He’s not happy about the temporary donut but hopefully doesn’t regret sharing about his little wound. Thanks to Kim for helping us!! 💚🐾🐾
