I have been putting off making this announcement for as long as I could while I explored all available options.

Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be returning to grooming until maybe next year. My husband was promoted into a new position at the lab and won’t be able to be home as much and I don’t have childcare at the moment. Elodie does not nap like my other children 💀 I’m on the waitlist for a couple different places that does infant care but they are unsure when I could get a spot. I am truly sorry for this inconvenience. I will miss all the dogs while I’m on sabbatical.

Elodie made her arrival one week ago! I have been asked about when I’ll resume grooming. I’m hoping to by mid October. My mother, who had been working with me, got a job at the lab. If Covid cases continue to rise and schools don’t remain 100% in person I’ll have to postpone returning to grooming. I won’t have the childcare and extra support I need to provide your pet the groom they deserve.

Due to some unforeseen changes in our family (all for the good except I lose out on childcare) I will be starting maternity leave 2 weeks early on 7/16. Hi everyone! I have been having terrible carpal tunnel syndrome related hand issues exasperated by this pregnancy. I will be doing my best to stay open until my planned maternity leave, but if it continues to be as bad as this past weekend I’m not sure. I couldn’t even brush my own hair. Thank you for your understanding and patience while I figure out the right balance of client load my hands can physically handle.
