This lady here was going through a bit of buddy sour with her pasture buddy. She would lock her feet up and that is when you're going to get into trouble. If you watch her hind legs you can see where we are working on her lateral flexion and disengaging her hind end. Think of a horse as a boat. The back drives the front. Your motor is in the rear. When she settles and puts her attention on me I leave her alone. I'm going to add pressure when she's focused on the other horse, and remove the pressure when she focuses on me instead.

3 year old fresian that I started, and trained for 3 months. Definitely a fun ride ❤️ Here we were working on her canter, leads, pace, balance.
