This past STEM microgreen workshop at the North White Plains Library brought young learners together for a guided exploration of growing food at home. With plenty of laughter, smiles, and even parents joining in on the fun, the workshop was a wonderful success!

We explored plant life cycles - beginning with common seeds, moving into sensory exploration with samples to see, smell, and taste, and concluding by planting individual microgreen grow kits

Each participant stepped into the role of plant scientist, approaching the activity with curiosity and enthusiasm. They left with a fully planted grow kit and an observation journal and coloring book designed to track growth day by day - continuing the learning experience at home over the coming weeks

This past Sunday we had the pleasure of joining the second annual Rockland Pet Palooza at .store in Nanuet. The turnout was remarkable, with many visitors stopping by to learn about our Pet Grass microgreens for their cats, dogs and other furry and feathered friends. The kittens available for adoption were especially taken with the Pet Grass - once they discovered it was meant for eating rather than sparring…!

The Pet Palooza also presented us with a great opportunity to collaborate with The Taco Boys of Nyack, who featured our Cilantro Microgreens on their menu for the day. Their beef tacos, rich and savory, paired perfectly with the citrusy brightness of the microgreens, showcasing just how much flavor these tiny leaves can bring to a dish

It was a meaningful event, full of conversations and connections with the local pet-loving community, and we’re grateful to have been a part of it~!

Sometimes lunch is an afterthought, like today. It’s a few slices of dried meat, the last of the mozzarella, a chunk of ciabatta bread, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and a handful of olives for good measure. Place a crown of pea tendrils on top, and suddenly it all looks intentional…

But the reality is that we’re all busy. Lunch breaks get shortened, skipped, or absorbed by email replies and last-minute calls. And when time’s tight, we don’t always reach for what nourishes us - just what’s close at hand. That’s where microgreens can quietly shift the course of a meal

Pea tendrils bring so much more to a meal than being just a pretty garnish of greens. Their winding tendrils and featherlight leaves bring a fresh energy to anything they touch. They’re sweet, like spring peas straight off the vine, and their curls add a lively texture that enlivens every bite

Beneath that tender crunch is a nutritional boost your body can feel, and thank you for. They’re full of vitamin C to keep your immune system sharp, iron and magnesium to help carry energy through your day, and the kind of gentle fiber that supports digestion without fuss. Even a small handful helps round out a carb-heavy, protein-packed lunch, and gives your body what it actually needs to get through the afternoon

No chopping or prep needed - because our greens are sold live, they’re ready when you are. In seconds, your fridge-sourced lunch becomes a revitalizing midday meal. Pea tendrils don’t just accompany a dish - they elevate it. Add them to what you already have, and let them prove to you that nourishment can be made simple
