We have partnered with the White Oak Rotary Club to collect much needed supplies for those affected by the recent hurricanes. The items requested by the Gatlinburg Fire Department are as follows:

Baby Diapers
Baby Formula
Baby Wipes
Wash Cloths
Towels
Sleeping Bags
Adult Diapers
Clorox Wipes

Please deliver any items you can to our White Oak location, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, by this Thursday, October 17, 2024 by 5:30 p.m. We will then coordinate distribution to the White Oak Rotary Club.

Any support will be greatly appreciated.

It’s with great sadness, we regret to inform you, that K9 Farkle unexpectedly and peacefully, with his best friend and partner, Lieutenant Nick Matthews, by his side, passed away January 18th, 2024 after a medical emergency. K9 Farkle has been with the McKeesport Police Department since 2012 until the date of his passing. Farkle was not only a great asset to the police department, but to the community as well. Farkle was patrol-certified, which includes apprehension, building search, article search, and area of search. He was also a certified narcotics detection dog. Farkle will be deeply missed by his Partner K-9 Handler Lieutenant Nick Matthews & Favorite Human, Destiny. Farkle will always be remembered as the best, sweetest boy. Please keep the department, K9 handler, Lieutenant Nick Matthews, and Destiny in your prayers. Thank you for your many years of service Farkle, you will be deeply missed! Rest easy good boy��
