15 degrees is a pretty warm temperature compared to the -11 we had tonight but it’s still not warm enough to keep the lines thawed for our water system. We added an extra heater and now it’s gone up 6 degrees in an hour so it’s 21 degrees in the shed. All the bunnies have bowls of water and our one and a half eared English lop has a heat lap so her long ear doesn’t get frost bite. Make sure you keep those little bunny butts warm this chilly season!!!

I I leave this fair with a very bittersweet feeling. Winning best in show is one of the most awarding feelings on a rabbit you bred and raised yourself. But selling a rabbit that you bred and raised yourself is the short end of the stick. I may never know what they grow and turn into. Yet I'm very happy that I get to spread rabbit raising into other family's households.
