So the Runt kisses me three times and walked away with her new home! Happy endings still exist even if I ugly cried! She has a brother to boss around and two people who fell in love with her!

This Month my community service as Mrs Coastal Cape Fear was Hometown Hero! We were allowed to choose our own hero! I chose Silvia Kim. She and her nonprofit A Shelter Friend has saved so many lives in rural Bladen County. She is the hardest working lady I know but doesn’t like attention to her efforts but I truly know she is beyond deserving of recognition! To celebrate her I donated treats and a new mop and mop bucket to the shelter plus went yesterday and put in a few extra hours in the wash pit! Yes the Wash Pit, cleaning and sanitizing cages and litter boxes, because I know that in order to save lives you truly must be willing to be uncomfortable and be willing to do whatever it takes! She has one more surprise coming but she will have to wait til Saturday! If you can spare a dollar or $5 please help me celebrate her as well by going to her rescue page and donating so we can save more four legged fur babies!Love truly is a four legged word!

Update; Lil Boy, the Runt of the litter left last night for City Dogs of DC. He is now Nick and he’s ready for Foster! I’ve cried today but it’s been all proud Mom Tears!
