I am a mother of three bio daughters, and also get to provide some additional motherly love on another bonus daughter and two boys! I'm a Middle Tennessee native - born in Hendersonville and currently residing in White House. All animals - particularly those of the canine and equine sort - have been a huge aspect, love, and interest of my world for as long as I can remember. I always knew that I w
ould turn this burning passion of mine into a career and life revolving around animals, in some way or another, and I've done exactly that - in various avenues! I now have obtained over a decade worth of experience in providing professional animal care to many local families and friends in need of a compassionate, reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy caregiver for their pets. I have experience in several varying canine/feline industry, such as; 7 years as a Kennel Tech turned Manager at a pet boarding, dog grooming, and dog daycare facility; 2 years as a Vet Tech/Assistant; 12 years as a dog trainer; 5 years of bite sport experience as both handler and entry-level decoy; 2 years as a retired dual purpose Law Enforcement K9 handler; several years of volunteer work with rescues; I presently work for a local rescue organization as a Canine Care Technician. I am consistently furthering my education in the field. In February 2024, I became a Canine Fitness and Canine Sports Massage graduate and in March 2024, I obtained certification for Canine and Feline CPR & First Aid through American Red Cross. In addition, I have a total of +15 years of experience in the equine industry, such as; 2 years as a Stable Manager at a show barn; 1 year as a Riding Instructor; +15 years of training and exercising horses; 7 years as a competitor myself. I have experience in a wide variety of riding disciplines, however, I specialized in English Pleasure/Hunt Seat, Equitation, entry-level jumping, and lower-level Dressage. I was a member of the Middle Tennessee Arabian Horse Association and the Arabian Horse Association for several years as I competed in Class A and Regional level shows. While I have the most extensive experience with the horses and dogs of our world, I do also have experience handling, caring for, and working with many other types of animals, such as, but not limited to; cats, fish, farm animals (pigs, chickens, goats, etc), small mammals (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc), and even some of our friends of the reptilian kind (lizards, geckos, and turtles)! Even with everything I've learned over these years of experience, I am always looking to learn and progress more in the industry so that I can utilize my knowledge and passion to provide my clients in the Northern Middle TN area with the utmost care and service.
