One of our most popular services at Mad Dawgs Training Company is the Dawg Day Adventure. Adventures are led by Jon, a certified dog trainer with over 6 years of experience. You can feel comfortable knowing he is also certified in first aid and CPR.

During a typical adventure walk, Jon and the dogs work on leash skills, reactivity, and socialization. This isn’t your average walk. The dogs experience real-life scenarios and learn how to handle them, all while having a great time. They get the chance to explore, sniff, climb, and even go for a swim in the summer months.

We know that some dogs need more activity and enrichment than the average pup. That’s why we are excited to share a new option: Agility Adventures. These walks would be focused on jumping, navigating hurdles, and balance.

So proud of my Mad Dawgs today! Jax has been working on his agility confidence, and slides were his downfall. He decided today was the day and not only went down the "bunny hill," he didn’t hesitate to take the advanced slide. My big baby Angel and I have been working on making the world less scary. Size doesn’t matter when fear is bigger! We tried a visit to Modern Vet, but once she caught wind, she stopped in her tracks. We did get to the front door, so I’ll take that as improvement.

UPDATE: we have received overwhelming support! We have enough blankets, bleach and gloves. If you wish to make a contribution, we still need cash donations for veterinary care and medication.

Say hello to Ollie! 👋🏻 🐾

Ollie is a new recruit to our Dawg Day Adventures program. While he was not a Mad Dawgs student, he does know his basic commands.

During the adventures, Jon reinforces known cues in real world situations. Our canine clientele also learn walking skills, work on agility, and get much-needed enrichment.

As for Ollie, he has already taken on a challenging set of stairs and will continue to be presented with enriching obstacles on his adventure walks!
