Please friends be extremely cautious when spoiling your pets. We lost our Freddie yesterday 💔 all starting from an "Indestructible" rope toy. I hope by admission of my failures as a dog parent I can save someone else from going through this pain and emptiness.
He was our boy, our family member, our watch dog that would suddenly get up from a deep sleep and watch out the window minutes before the bus came home with his boys. He was trained to heard goats safely and ever so gently back into the barn & loved when my husband would say "squirrel!" and open the door, chasing away any threat to our bird feeders. He would never leave the side of a family member when they were ill so I followed his lead and stayed with him until he was gone. We did EVERYTHING in our power to keep him with us, he was seen by 4 veterinarians, had a 3 night stay at Emergency Hospital with surgery and was able to come home Monday night. However this vigorous loving, smart boy just couldn't fight the white blood cells of peritonitis that still occurred after surgery.
I have to say thank you to the Dr and staff at Animal Wellness Center of White Cloud Michigan for being able to so compassionate and loving to his end.

I just wanted to inform ALL my Taylored Labradoodle's & Goldendoodle's of Michigan families the consequences of the innocent rope toys all my fur babies loved for years...
Mr Freddie That has never been a mischievous dog that would ingest toys, actually ended up in the animal hospital this weekend from the material building up in his intestines 😥
I will never buy these again although they are "tough" or "Indestructible" because that's just false.
Please keep him in your thoughts and over the holidays when gifting your babies try to keep them safe❤️
Because I don't know when I get to bring mine home or what his final outcome will be 💔

Greetings and Happy Thursday to all my families! As we all get ready for this weekends travels to bring your baby home I wanted to let you know a few things about your puppies!
We are feeding Purina One large breed puppy. However if you choose to change food please remember to GRADUALLY add new food into their diet.
We STRONGLY advise you to keep your puppy on your choice of puppy food for minimum of 1year of age or per your veterinarian recommend duration. These puppies grow fast and need correct amount of nutrients and proteins for best possible bone health and growth rate 😀
Puppies went to
Veterinarian November 10th for 1st series of vaccines and health check. You will come home with this record 🙂
Please if you do not yet have a vet for your furbaby find one you will have a good rapport with. Your puppy will need future vaccines and just like bringing a newborn human baby home new parents like to have ongoing support from physicians as their baby grows.
They have been playing with a variety of toys and those toys will be coming home with you as well 😀
Your puppy has had pyrantel pamoate at 2, 4 & 6 weeks of age with Fenbendazole starting Today - Saturday. This is an important practice to protect your puppy from common parasites.
We are excited for all of our new families joining us for this important yet sometimes stressful transition for your puppy! Please remember this is all new for them and they may cry the 1st night missing their former family and home.
