Some of the new pups are being added to the continuing lines!! The Dire Wolf look is so close!
When Lois Schwarz started this journey, it was to create a dog that was a companion... in the greatest sense! One that lived to be your best friend. Low to no prey drive, no or limited barking when necessary and bred to have the best health that we can offer. So much so, that we hold a guarantee on our dogs genetic health.
With that all in mind, these dogs would hold something else... with NO wolf content in them at all, they would be stocky, thick bones, heavy and look like what we might imagine an extinct Dire Wolf might look like.
With no aggression, we bred these dogs to loom stoic and regal but with an aloof nature that kept people at a distance due to those looks.
Some may see our dams and sizes and think, "those aren't Dire Wolves"... but you can't deny when you see them in person, that they are regal, huge and the softest companions you will almost ever meet!

The Kora X Admiral pups are growing fast! Two of these girls will be up for adoption once they are a bit larger and have some training in them.

The Rhoda litter (Lono as the dad) is getting so big! Yellow eyes are starting to show! (The more blue the eyes in our lines, the more yellow they will be at full growth).
Every pup has brindling, which is why we bred these two together.

Banshee X Lono pup, Danu. We just love her... hehe. She so sweet and such a beautiful little girl. Furnishings? Um... yup! Lol, they will be gone in the next generation, but the beautiful wire coat on top and brindling with Yellow, slanted eyes... those will stay!

The Diva X Lono puppies are a week old today! They are growing so fast! Temperment testing is uploaded and new pictures are up. The little boy with the white spot on his nose was eating, so I will get his photo later.

The Diva X Lono litter is here! This litter was done to show and see the differences when you choose different bi***es to continue lines.
Where Diva's sister Banshee holds the Leloo lines (her mother and the Mastiff size), Diva throws the Ironheart lines. Taller and thinner, though still solid and heavy built.
Diva had 4 puppies. 3 males and one black brindle female.
Like Ironheart, they hold the dilute genes and pass pink skin, pads of the feet and noses. This is not something we want, but it will depend on the continued testing, for us to determine who we will keep to move forward with the lines.
As the "Dire Wolf Project" (the project containing the breed and giving rise to the meaning of where the breed would go) comes to its final steps, our dogs and those they have as offspring will start looking more like what we believe the extinct Dire Wolf would have looked like.
Heavy muscling, thick bones, sloped noses to the skull with no stop, yellow slanted eyes, long, thick mane on the shoulders and with a dropped head and tail, this is what is coming.

"Merrow" out of Banshee X Lono left out with All Aboard Pet Transport LLC this morning! Such a beautiful, sweet boy. I will miss his cuddles, but can't wait for him to meet his forever family!

The start to a good heal, velcro puppies! This is "High Octane" out of Macha X Lono and he is the sweetest little boy! The weather held up his flight, so he leaves on Thursday now, but extra crate training, potty training and cuddles never hurt any puppies!!

Among the many reasons why the American Alsatian is different than any other breed (such as Genetic considerations, ensuring health stays as the number one priority, keeping in contact with ALL owners *unless they just don't reach out or respond* and taking information that pertains to the dogs raising, feeding, health related conditions if any and weight/heights), we also breed for ourselves FIRST. What that means is ALWAYS keeping the highest priority to ensure that our litters hold the Genetic personality/temperment and calm nature that is written in our standards https://kingsleykennels.com/breeding-and-testing/standards-of-the-breed/ to allow owners to easily bring this large breed into their homes first.... but what happens when we have the temperment down? (Our F4 AA's and above all hold the highest temperments. Whereas, outcrossing for vigor and larger bones/size which are recessive traits will vary in temperment and sizes will vary) When temperement is complete in the line, we move on to look. We are at the look now.
So, we breed for ourselves as the creator/breeder first. This means, litters are what WE need, to choose the dogs that will further our lines. We KNOW that the temperments and sizes will be what you, the client want, but we as the breeder need the genes.
How do we know what genes will keep our recessive traits and give us the Dire Wolf look? Time, experience and all of Lois Schwarz years of knowledge!
We do not claim to know what we are doing... we KNOW what we are doing and we are the ONLY breeders in the world to guarantee our lines.
Not only do we guarantee our dogs health, but we stand by that guarantee by caring about the livelihood of your dogs and you, the families that include our dogs into your homes.

Banshee is such a loving mom. While she will not breed again, as the birthing was too much for her, she is the best girl. The Banshee X Lono litter are so beautiful and Lono really did pass little clones of himself!
