Dr. Smith has owned and operated Whippany Veterinary Hospital since July 1998. She is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the NJVMA, the AVMA, AAHA, SAVM, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the American Veterinary Dental Society. She attends regular continuing education seminars to keep abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Her three shih tzus, “Carmelita”, “Caleb”, and “Luciano”, travel with her to work every day and are her pride and joy.

Due to her special interest in veterinary dentistry, she has completed extensive continuing education in advanced dentistry. Dr. Smith’s desire is to relieve pets’ disease and pain that often go unnoticed by the untrained eye. She focuses on preventive care and the many options available today for pain control in pets.
