Kip is on the board with her 1st recovery of the 2025 season. We picked up this track about 10 1/2 hours after the shot. The hunter knew he hit it back and did the right thing and backed out. Kipley did good, even with the dry conditions. We had to restart a few times, but she eventually led us to this nice PA buck! She was so hot and tired when she found him that she just laid down instead of getting her normal few bites in. She didn’t want to let the deer go and got stuck in his antlers in the trunk of the car. We had to oull the head of the deer back out to free her. Lol. Congrats to the hunter!

UPDATE : No deer. Only 6-7” or so of pe*******on where the arrow was broke off, no blood, and little bit of white hair. We grid searched for the hunter and he was in agreement that this doe is probably still alive.

We got caught sleeping! Got a call for our first track and didn’t even know that the city hunt had started! Had to make a pitstop for some treats that I carry in my pocket. Can’t get Kipley out of her routine! Wish us luck!
