It’s been a minute since I have updated anything, but I am finally back to ”normal”-ish. 7 months post op and getting back to the real world!

We have still be running field trials, signed up for dock diving and AKC spaniel tests in May.

But most importantly, started our health testing! We are looking forward to *hopefully* producing future litters!

Liberty says “are we finally getting back to normal?”

🤩🤩🤩 Lane! 🤩🤩🤩

Due to my surgery, my husband took Lane to the NADD National Championship in MO for me. The boys did great!

Lane earned his Elite Excellent VI title, which means 130 jumps over 24’! He is the first GSP to ever do this!

He also came in 4th place for AR and 17th for distance. I am so proud. Lane came off a very hard injury last season, which left us with a short window to compete in this current season. Also this is only the second time my husband has handled Lane alone. These boys crushed it!

Bear and Lane had a successful weekend at the Northeast NADD regionals!

These came in 2nd overall in AR with the bear grab at 22’! Bear has never done AR with Lane and they crushed it!

This earned Lane an invite to the National showcase for AR and because he was in the top 25% Lane will be competing in distance was well!

This makes Lane fourth year competing and he has gone to nationals every year! I think that’s amazing

Right when I finally get back on track of posting the dogs and the activities life happens.

Meet Mabel. Mabel is an ependymoma, aka a tumor in my spinal cord. It’s been a whirl wind of doctors and game plans.

What does this mean? Well dog sports are on hold so you won’t be seeing a ton of this page. I’m hoping my husband is still able to balance me and getting out to enjoy the thing he loves of running dogs in the fall. But we just won’t know yet. This may push our time line of breeding but again we just don’t know.

My surgery is august 24, rehab facility is going to be at 3-4 weeks and full actual healing is about 6months to a year 😫

Fun fact: Less that 1,000 people are diagnosed with this annually in the US… so pretty rare.

It’s a dock diving weekend! Libertys first ever event. Lane representing and Salem hoping for a title we will see! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Best thing? Making all the memories with these guys!!!

We traveled down to Prime K9s summer bash to finish Lanes AR to accept his invite. We got there early and the wonderful people offered to work his AR in early because we did the trip in a day. I declined and decided to just let him have some fun and signed him up to jump.

This guy jumped a personal best of 29’9”! You read that right 29’9” 🙌🏻 He is currently the #2 GSP in the nation with NADD with only 12 jumps, which coming off an injury I will gladly take any day!

I’m absolutely blown away by this guy!

We are back home visiting, and it’s never a trip home in the summer without a trip to the lake.

It was Lexa and Libertys first time swimming in Lake Erie. Liberty was fearless and Lexa finally got the hold of it once there was retrieving involved. 🌊

The Texan! 🤠

I’m SO proud of her! She’s flourished so much in 6 months, and she’s finding that drive inside. She did great with everyone out, still a little iffy with strange dogs but making progress. I don’t expect her to be a social butterfly but just hoping she gains some confidence around new dogs.

⭐️Laney baney beany boy⭐️

We competed at Cross Creek Farm Canine Water Sports regional qualifier

⭐️1st place elite in distance
⭐️ 3rd place ELITE air retrieve (😱😱😱)

Currently not “active” in NADD but his average is 26’1 which makes him the third ranked GSP in the nation and close to his DEXIV 🙌🏻 Excited to see how his summer goes

The months were long and hard not playing and letting him heal but here is to his come back 💪🏻

Lane is FINALLY back on the dock. I got over my fear from his accident. Farthest jump was 27’7” and he hit 22’ in AR which we haven’t seen since 2019 when he won nationals!

I haven’t updated since NADD nationals mainly because I was very focus on Lanes recovery and some big changes!

Liberty! She made her UFTA debut and is a rock star! She earned her first JH leg as well (all moms fault, we have it down now!) she also earned her barn hunt novice title with all high in trials! Meaning she had the fastest time of each trial including the large and medium dogs! 🙌🏻

Clay! He’s back to doing things, and got to play barn hunt! the judge told us “next time i see you guys, you should be in master”

And we added to the family 🤷🏼‍♀️ drove 3 days one way to Texas to pick up Lexa. She’s really staring to come out of her shell and she shows a TON of promise.
