We wish we could say yes to every dog in need, but at this time, we are completely at capacity for dogs.

Every single day, we receive messages, emails, and calls asking us to take in pets. While we understand that life can become overwhelming, our rescue was never intended to replace the lifelong commitment made when bringing a dog into your family.

People welcome babies and continue loving and caring for their dogs.

People change jobs, work long hours, and adjust their routines — and still keep their dogs.

People move to new homes and make accommodations for their pets.

People face behavior challenges, invest in training, work through obstacles, and stand by their dogs.

These situations are incredibly common, and we know many families are doing their very best to make it work every day.

We also understand that there are truly heartbreaking situations where owners genuinely can no longer care for their pets. In those cases, we try to help whenever and however we can.

But we also want to encourage people to remember this:

Dogs are not temporary companions. They are family.

Please continue showing your dog the same patience, loyalty, and commitment you showed the day you brought them home. They depend on you completely, and to them, you are their whole world.

Thank you to everyone who continues to step up for their pets and support rescue efforts in our community. ❤️

Artemis Update 🐾💙

Sweet Artemis continues to make progress on his healing journey!

Thanks to our amazing volunteer, Jody Greer, Artemis has been getting his medicated baths to help his skin heal and keep him comfortable. We are so grateful for the love and care our volunteers pour into these dogs every single day.

We’re also excited to share that Artemis has gained weight and his hair is finally starting to grow back in. Seeing these changes has been incredibly encouraging and reminds us just how far he’s come already.

Thank you all for continuing to support Artemis with your donations, prayers, and kind words. Every bit of support is helping this sweet boy get the second chance he deserves. ☀️🐶
