The Pembroke Welsh Corgi may be short, but don’t let the legs fool you — these dogs were built to WORK.
Originating in Wales, they were bred to herd cattle, sheep, and even horses by nipping heels and ducking kicks like furry little dodgeball champions. Their name roughly translates to “dwarf dog,” but their attitude translates to “I pay the mortgage here.”
And yes… the Queen loved them. 👑 Queen Elizabeth II owned over 30 corgis in her lifetime, which honestly just proves corgis have been manipulating powerful people for generations.
