From the slaughter pipeline to the winner’s circle…

Victor was rescued from Auction last year, he was severely emaciated, very lame, and defeated. We saw a horse who had a chance but just needed rescuing.

We refed Victor, treated his lameness over months of treatment, and corrective trimmed him to get him back on track. After months of treatment we let Victor go to his final and permanent home.

A girl and a dream…

Kimber is learning to ride and after bad falls and even a broken arm, lost her confidence and competitive spirit. Then Kimber found Victor. Victor and Kimber have built each other back up and now both are winning checks in the winner’s circle for beginner barrel racing. But most importantly, both have the confidence to ride again.

Kimber is also running for Rodeo Queen, and Victor is her amazing Queen’s Court horse. We are very proud of them both and Ho**er Ranch is sponsoring Kimber and Victor in her race for queen.

We are so proud of Kimber and Victor, no matter what happens, they will always be King and Queen in our book.
