Susan was kind enough to let me come on here and update everybody that I now work at Pet Goods in Ramsey! I knew I wanted to stay working in a pet store. That is where my knowledge is that is where my love is. Thank you all in part to Susan and everything I learned at Westwood pets. Pet Goods is an independently owned company. It is not corporate, one man owns the four stores.
They carry a lot of products that Westwood pets used to carry.
They have a VIP program.
There are monthly discounts and coupons of $5-$7 off your total.
They offer a frequent buyer program where you buy a certain amount of dog or cat food bags and then you get one free.
They also price compare their dog and cat foods.
Please come and stop in and check things out.

To all our friends and their beloved pets,
It is with a very heavy heart that we are writing to inform you that after 46 years of dedicated service to our community of animal lovers, Westwood Pets must close its doors. We had a great run thanks to all of your patronage, support, trust and friendship over the years. As difficult as it is to make this announcement, the result of rising costs and purchase limitations for mom & pop shops versus large corporate business’ stops us from even trying to compete with online and box store retailers.
The projected close for the store will be sometime in April. For those who we special order items for, please note that we will do our best to get you what you need for the remainder of February to help you make the transition to a new retailer.
We hope to see as many faces as possible come through our doors before we close this chapter only to write a new one. THANK YOU all (human and animal) for making wonderful and loving memories to cherish forever here at Westwood Pets.
