WESTWOOFS STORY: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF STASHU
Stashu is our tushie/tushie bear 🐻 he is almost 2 years old and is a well-behaved, loving Australian Shepard. Stashu brings out positive energy wherever he roams and he has no aggressive bone in his body. He’s a charming lover boy.
Stashu loves attention and will make you know that he wants it. He will place his big paw on top of you wherever you are, the paw is his way of expressing “more body scratches please!” If that doesn’t work out in his favor - next is what I call the dolphin maneuver. He will bop his head under your arm or leg and push it up with his nose 🐶 you will notice his desires then 😂
STASHU’S HIPS DONT LIE 💃🏻🐶 Because Aussies have short tails, when he gets excited only his hips and tushie wiggle… you can’t see his black tail bc it blends with his black top coat but seeing his hips do a little dance - it’s adorable!
Stashu is overall the perfect canine and companion, he like all other pooches suffers from the common disorder: . He isn't terrible , won't sn**ch it from your hand, or eat it off table when you are in another room. 🐶However, Stashu will focus too hard on any food at hand….his eye contact is solely planted on the food - not you or anything else. 🐶 Will never drop eye contact because of the possible chance a crumb or morsel might drop in his reach . A bomb can go off and nothing! With such serious focus he displays, you would think he might succeed telepathically 🐶
Stashu is one of my favorites when it comes to type of dog breeds, he is a working dog! He gets pleasure, purpose and stimulation from physical and mental work and play. Stashu loves to Work, will do anything for a job and no pay! 🐶 🐶 it gives him a purpose to be who he is in the pack, and above it all - the loving and satisfying attention he receives by showing his pack leader obedience.
Stashu understands the human language and reads body language extremely well! He knows all basic commands and tricks but no fun and useless ones yet so, I decided to see how his trick teachings and training came into play. I taught him the trick roll over 🐶 I showed him the command for roll over with my hands and helped him through it the first 3 times with a treat to reward the action. He got it in 5-7 minutes tops. Didn’t forget it the next day either. He is genius 🐶
Stashu is a great companion to snuggle with in bed, he is warm and soft and knows how to play the role of being a body pillow. 🐶🥰🐶 Sophia absolutely loved having him here bc he wasn’t abrasive and also was gentle to the touch with playing fetch and chasing her around. They slept together every night. 🥰
Stashu isn’t aggressive but let me tell you - if you are behind the door knocking and he announces someone is there or coming and you don’t know what’s behind that door… ?? He posses this loud deep bark of a beast! Super intimidating from behind closed doors, once opened - your his best friend 🐶
Stashu drops things when you say drop it, he walks amazing on a leash, no pulling, always right by your side. 🐶 Can go off leash to play, come back when it’s time to go, when no means no he will back off of whatever it is. Overall an Incredibly well behaved dog at such a young age.
Stashu listens, obeys, comes to you on demand and loves to work and show loyalty for his pack leader by sticking to your side and waiting on command. 🐶He has total respect and love for his pack as well as protecting the pack if need be. He is the perfect catch in any female eyes 🥰
We love you and will miss you Tushie bear 🐻 until next time! We can’t wait to see you and have you stay here at Westwoofs Wishes again.
