Not every health benefit can be measured in miles heart rate calories or blood pressure. Sometimes the benefit is simply who is beside you.
Walk together. Ride together. Hike together. Explore together.
Strong social connection is associated with better mental and physical health, greater resilience distress, and healthier aging.
And when the activity involves movement, you get something even better exercise for the body connection for the mind. Memories for a lifetime.
My healthy habit? I stick to a schedule of walking at least 2 miles per day no IF AND OR BUT about it that is my commitment to myself.
I strengthen my body while strengthening something even more important my relationship with myself.
Some miles improve your fitness, some miles improve your life.
