Shoutout to one of the wonderful herdsmen we work with — 4 weeks in a row with a 100% palpation rate in BOTH cows and heifers. Dr. Courtney has not diagnosed anybody as open in 4 weeks!

They’re also utilizing Merck Animal Health SenseHub Dairy technology to help identify cows in heat. So clearly this system and management combination is working!

Their current average conception rate for the cows is running 65%, with an all-time monthly high of 76% conception in February!

I told the dairy owner I wanted to post this and he said, “Don't say our name or everyone will be driving in here trying to hire him.” 😂

So we're keeping it anonymous for job security purposes. But we agreed he deserves to be recognized for all the hard work he puts in! Congratulations!

This big heifer calf came knocking on the side door at 2am last week, and we answered! Dr. Emmy was able to perform an emergency c-section and finished just in time to watch the sunrise. We are happy to report mom and baby are doing well!
