Dusty Boots Equestrian

Dusty Boots Equestrian is a community resource for Hippotherapy and Equine Activities. We have both indoor and outdoor arenas for riding as weather permits.

Dusty Boots operates year-round with a heated stall barn and observation room. We provide hippotherapy, riding lessons, and are affiliated with the Henry County Special Olympics. Stacey Creps is a PT who is a Level II trained therapist with the American Hippotherapy Association.

Mackenzie: “My favorite part about being on the team this year was being able to ride all different kinds of horses that had different training. I also loved getting to cheer on and support my teammates when they are in the show pen!

Laina: “My favorite part about being a rider on the YEDA Team was the connections I made with my teammates. We all supported one another and celebrated each other’s successes throughout the year. Whether we were riding at practice or taking care of the horses at shows, we all pitched in and had fun while doing it.”

Kaylee: “My experience on the DB Equestrian Team was the best! I loved going to new places. I loved meeting new people. I loved getting to ride different horses. I loved hanging with my team and making new friends! It was so much fun doing all that while getting to help with various jobs and helping at the shows. Working with the horses is my favorite part.”

Brynlee: “My favorite part about being in YEDA this year would be some of the team activities that we have done as a group. They have been really fun and a good way to make new friendships. I also have loved some of the new exercises that we have done at team practices. They have really pushed me out of my comfort zone and have helped me grow to become a stronger rider. Those are some of my favorite parts about being in YEDA.”

Student of the Week: Kaylee Murphy! 💪🏼

Kaylee has been continually dedicating herself to working hard around the barn, taking good care of her pony Coco and learning new disciplines. We are so proud of her tenacity and dedication lately and wanted to spotlight her.
