Attention all pet owners! It has come to our attention that the SAVE THIS LIFE microchip company has closed down and cannot be reached for microchip information. We urge everyone to check their pet's microchip information. If your pet has one of these microchips, commonly starting with the numbers 991001 or 900164, you will need to register the number with another company. We are currently recommending 24Petwatch (24petwatch.com), as they will register any number at no cost. Other recommended microchip companies that may incur a small fee include: PetLink, HomeAgain, and AKC Reunite.

If you are unsure where your pet's microchip is registered, please visit the AAHA website at this link https://www.aaha.org/for-veterinary-professionals/microchip-search/ and use the microchip registry lookup tool. If you are unsure what your pet's microchip number is, please contact the clinic for further instruction.
