Hello Folx! I am so glad to see new followers. I am starting my spring plantings this week in the Greenhouse. This year I am focussing more effort on everybody's favorite Tomatoes. I think they will do well on the farmstand and are perfect for Boston Gleaners to distribute to the Food Pantries around Mass.

I've posted a beautiful water color that Jack Martin painted and gave to us. The Martin family were descendants of the original owners of the farm and lived in the Lilac House before my Dad bought the property. They moved down to the second oldest house a real beauty. Thanks to all the wonderful Martin family

Founder of the feast. This is Tom Peebles my Dad. I called him Pop usually "Hey Pop". He literally bought the farm I live on now in 1963. Among his major accomplishments, he was a decorated Navy Pilot and did two tours in the South Pacific. He flew a B24 bomber. That's him in the photo age 22.

Post W2 he went back to school and got a MD from Harvard. He decided to practice pediatric medicine. He isolated the Measles Virus in 1954 and developed the vaccine at John Enders lab in 1963. His studies on Tetanus changed protocol saving more lives.

He had his practice in Weston and was Chief Resident of Pediatrics at the MGH. Google will give lots of info. I wish he was alive today so he could address that idiot RFK jr. Oddly RFK jr used to visit the Lilac house that I live in now in the 70s. It was rented to a young woman who always paid cash . There he'd snort coke and do drugs. What a loser.

My dad made me the person I am today. He gave me my head and my Mom, Kay, gave me my heart. I was one lucky kid to have such amazing parents. Here is one of many photos of my Dad.
