We are looking for local businesses, artisans, crafters, pet-related vendors, rescues, nonprofits, community organizations, service providers, and food vendors to join us for Woofstock!

**Please note if you are with a direct sales company please check with us before registering.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Wakefield Valley Event Center & Park in Westminster, Maryland.

Woofstock brings together a large, pet-loving audience for a full day of entertainment, food, vendors, activities, and community—all in support of the Humane Society of Carroll County’s lifesaving mission.

🐾 HEY… IT’S ROOKIE. I’M STILL HERE. 🐾

Adoption Fee Waived

I keep watching people come through the shelter and leave with their new best friends.

I’m still waiting for mine.

I’m almost 2 years old, about 71 pounds, housebroken, crate trained, and I already know some basic commands. I’ve lived successfully with another dog before, and I really love having people of my own.

I’ll admit it — crowds and lots of commotion can be a little much for me. I’d be happiest in a calmer, predictable home without small children, with someone who understands that I do best when life isn’t quite so chaotic.

I’ve been here a long time now, and I’m really hoping someone will finally look past my kennel and see me.

I’m goofy. I’m smart. I’m loyal. And I’m more than ready to go home.

❤️ My adoption fee is waived.

These cats may not be suited for traditional home life, but they thrive in barn, farm, or outbuilding settings—like a shed, garage, vineyard, or warehouse—where they can live comfortably while keeping pests away.

✅ We recommend adopting barn cats in pairs—they love having a buddy!

All barn cats are fully vetted, including:
✔️ Spayed/neutered
✔️ FIV/FELV tested negative
✔️ Microchipped & ear tipped
✔️ Dewormed & flea/tick treated
