I started making healthy dog treats because of Shelby, my beloved Golden Retriever who was my service dog. When I realized Shelby was allergic to so many foods, I made it my mission to make her some treats that she could enjoy without getting sick. It became a labor of love that led

to developing Chef Lou, a line of healthy, dehydrated treats for dogs and cats. Chef Lou treats have ZERO preservatives or additives and come in a wide variety of Chicken Jerky, Chicken & Apple Jerky, and Salmon Jerky. Shelby crossed over the Rainbow bridge in February 2024 and as my inspiration for this line of healthy treats, she will forever serve as Brand Ambassador for Chef Lou.

Yesterday our Chef took a beautiful idea of a tattoo memorial of his beloved dog Shelby and his life and things he has had challenges he has conquered and gotten past. Things that nearly killed him and he immortalized Shelby on his skin forever in this beautiful tattoo. Our Chef is absolutely in love with his new item and amazed by the skill of the artist scotttatts freaking amazing job.

Are these two little cutie pies just the most adorable things ever? Let me introduce you to Storm and Ash, two of our fantastic long-time customers! They are American Klee Kai's-a breed that's super special and, from what we've seen, pretty rare too! In all the years Chef Lou worked as a Veterinary Technician, he had never come across one until he met these delightful pups. Storm and Ash absolutely LOVE our treats! They've tried and savored every single bag we have, and trust me, they've relished every single bite!

We can't wait to see our furry friends Storm and Ash again soon! We're so happy they have plenty of our treats to enjoy in the meantime. Chef Lou is sending over a gigantic hug, some gentle pets, and of course, more treats just for you two! Stay adorable, Storm and Ash!
