Thank you to all of my followers for your continued support!! It has been such a pleasure being part of the Invertebrate&Reptile community!!!🕷🦂🐍🩵 I've met some WONDERFUL people along the way that I'm very grateful to be able to call "friends"🫶🥹 Unfortunately for now, that chapter of my life has come to a close. If I'm ever able to reopen it, I certainly will!🙏🏻

With that being said, I'm VERY excited to open the next chapter in my life!! Being a new first time home owner has proven to have it's own set of challenges, but has absolutely been worth the journey!! We officially closed on 10/25/24, & are now all moved in, but still getting settled. I'm beyond in love with our little humble abode🥰. It's perfect for us!! (Pic for tax!🤗)

It is with great sadness, I'm announcing the official closing of Gypsy's.Souls 🥺(& our MorphMarket store). With the move to our new home, it's proving to be just too challenging to continue my Invertebrates hobby. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to get back into the game but if so, I'll certainly let everyone know in a post. 🥹

As of now, all of my brɛɛding stock & personal pets have been sent over to Mystic Labyrinth in Colorado. They have been AMAZING friends that I have no idea what I would do without. If anyone is interested in any species that I had, please be sure to reach out to Mystic on availability.

I will miss our babies & all of my customers dearly, but this is the best decision at this point in my life. Love you all my beautiful souls!!🩵🕷

Species: Eresus moravicus (Velvet Spider)
She was obtained from Mystic Labyrinth on 4/7/24 as an unsexed sling. Can't wait to see her fully matured!!🤗

We just want to say we appreciate those who were patient with us the last few days since our personal life was busy this week♡

Monday we had the concert & Tuesday was a huge packing day for us. We were still recovering from the concert yesterday & feeding spood beans♡

We really appreciate our Mystic Coven for all your support and love. It's the best knowing we can step away for a few days and come back to you guys!

📝ADDITIONAL NOTES📝
The Stegodyphus dufouri (Velvet Spider) Slings in this clutch all hatched on 8/9/2024. Most have all molted at least once and have been doing extremely well with eating prey! They are all currently thriving on rice flour beetle larvae. Velvet Spiders primarily receive their hydration needs from their meals so I prefer to offer feeder insects that have a higher moisture content. In my personal opinion, fruit flies do not contain the proper moisture levels to help aid in preventing mismolts for Velvet Spiders. I'm not saying it's not possible to raise Velvet spider Slings on fruit flies, I'm just saying that my experience has led me to feel that rice flour beetle larvae are simply a better choice.

This species is an extremely easy keeper and are one of my favorite to care for. I highly recommend them as a beginner species. As I say in all my Velvet Spider posts, I'm not at all an expert but I have learned what works for me personally and I'm more than happy to share my own experiences with anyone that would like to ask questions on how I care for my own.😊
