Calido W – 19 hand 2009 Hanoverian Gelding. “Carl” as he is lovingly known around the barn comes with his own fan club! This talented and gentle giant is available to borrow this show circuit in Ocala Florida. Carl has numerous placings in the jumper and equitation rings, having competed up to 1.35m up and down the east coast. He has had success with professionals, adult amateurs and junior riders, and is a seasoned teacher who knows his job. He is easy to flat, lovely in the bridle, and has a wonderful feel over the fences. He would be ideal for an adult or junior looking to experience the jumper or equitation rings up to 1.10m on a horse that is safe, kind and consistent while also providing invaluable learning opportunities. Exciting news from HL Select!

HL Select is proud to announce that on January 1, 2025, our team will be relocating to Cavallo Equestrian Center in Westford, MA. Cavallo is a 24 acre farm, boasting amenities including indoor wash stalls, two indoor arenas, a grass derby field, a large outdoor arena, on site laundry, large turnout fields, and a heated lounge. We are extremely excited to be joining a group of caring and dedicated horse professionals at Cavallo who will aid us in enhancing the level of care we provide and offer for our horses and our clients. Cavallo is located with convenient access to 495 and route 2, and is under an hour’s drive from Boston. We are thrilled to continue offering the high standards of care for our equine partners that HL Select is known for while upgrading our amenities and comfort for our clients.

HL Select is actively accepting new boarders and clients at our new location, and for those who are looking to head south to Florida for the winter. Please reach out to owner and head trainer, Hannah Lavin at 774-239-3765 to discuss packages and options.

Trainer Hannah Lavin specializes in training hunters and jumpers and addressing the following issues:
