CLF Horse Braiding, Westford, MA (2026)

I'm Courtney Fitch, the braider behind "CLF Horse Braiding". I've been riding and showing horses for 15+ years, starting in the hunter and equitation rings as a junior and young AA with my OTTB Frequent Flyer (through 2'6) and Tea Time (3'-3'6). I showed and braided my horses for A and AA shows across New England, including the Vermont Summer Festival, HITS Saugerties, Saratoga, Charles Owen Medal

Finals, MHC Finals, Fairfield Hunt Club, Fieldstone and Head of the Bay. I had a stint riding rescue horses in my 20s and then found dressage in my 30s. I'm currently working towards my USDF Bronze Medal with my recently imported 8 year old German Sport Horse, Schumanski, and will be showing him this year in First, Second and (hopefully!) Third Level dressage. I have always taken pride in braiding my own horses for the show ring, and am expanding my braiding services to others for the 2023 show season! I am available to braid for dressage, hunters, jumpers, eventing and photo shoots across Central New England, including Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut / Rhode Island and Southern Maine / Vermont / New Hampshire. Meet the woman behind CLF Horse Braiding - Courtney Fitch !

Courtney has been riding and showing horses for 20+ years. She started in the hunter and equitation rings as a junior and young AA with her OTTB Frequent Flyer (through 2'6), followed by Tea Time (3'-3'6), her Belgian Warmblood. She showed and braided her own horses for A and AA shows across New England, including the Vermont Summer Festival, HITS Saugerties, Saratoga, Charles Owen Medal Finals, MHC Finals, Fairfield Hunt Club, Fieldstone and Head of the Bay.

She had a stint riding rescue horses in her 20s and then found dressage in her 30s when she met Jacquelyne Toher, the owner of Elegante Performance Horses in 2020. Courtney's currently working towards her USDF Bronze Medal with her recently imported 18 hand, 8 year old German Sport Horse, Schumanski. This year, you will see her in the dressage ring in USDF Region 8 competing in First, Second and (hopefully!) Third Level.

Courtney has always taken pride in braiding and grooming her own horses for the show ring, and is expanding her braiding services to others for the 2023 show season! She is available to braid for dressage, hunters, jumpers, eventing and photo shoots across Central New England, including Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut / Rhode Island and Southern Maine / Vermont / New Hampshire. She may also be traveling up to GMHA throughout the summer. Please get in touch to schedule for the 2023 season!
