It all started with Bourbon. 🥃
My first true working dog — full of fire, heart, and more try than most.
I brought him home 3.5 years ago, and he changed everything.

Then came Mika Rose 🌹, my co-owned girl with just as much drive and a little more sass. She’s been with me for 2 years now, and she never stops showing up.

And of course, R***r 🐾 — our almost 8 year-old Blue Heeler and the original ranch boss. He’s not flashy, but he’s steady, smart, and a favorite to all.

These dogs aren’t just pets. They’re my teammates. Training partners. My reason for pushing harder and doing better.
I wanted gear that could keep up with them — collars and leashes that looked good, held strong, and didn’t fall apart in the mud or rain.
I couldn’t find what I needed… so I made it.

That’s how Hike & Heel started.
Each piece is hand-tied using marine-grade rope — the kind made to hold fast in the worst conditions. Safe to get wet, built to get dirty, and tough enough for dogs who live to work.

You’re looking at the very first collars and leash tab I ever made.
Two years ago, this was just an idea. Something I put together for my own dogs, Mika and Bourbon.

Since then, these exact pieces have been through it all.
