📣🐾 WE NEED YOUR HELP SPREADING THE WORD! 🐾📣

Our 6th Annual Scruffy Paws for the Cause: A Journey Around the World online auction is less than a month away, and we want to make sure as many people as possible know about it! 🌎🐱

We’ve been working hard putting together an amazing collection of auction packages, and now we need our Scruffy Paws family to help us get them in front of as many people as possible.

💻 SHARE IT DIGITALLY!
Share this post. Tag your friends. Send it to your family. Post it in local community groups. Put it on your stories. Basically, if you can hit “share,” please hit it. 😹

🖨️ PRINT IT & POST IT!
We already have printed copies of the auction flyer available at the shelter! If you know of a business, office, community center, library, bulletin board, coffee shop, pet store, workplace, or anywhere else that allows flyers, stop by and grab some to distribute or hang up.

📍 Think outside the box!
The more places our flyer ends up, the more people who will see our auction — and the more bids we can get to help the cats!

Our goal is to raise $25,000, and every share, flyer, tag, and conversation helps us get closer. 💜

🌎 NOW WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Where should we be hanging these flyers?! 👇

Tell us a business, town, workplace, community group, or random place you think would be perfect for getting our auction in front of more people.

Or just comment “SHARED!” so we know our Scruffy Paws advertising army is out there doing its thing. 😂🐾

🗓️ November 6–8, 2026
💜 100% of the proceeds benefit Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue
🔗 Auction: https://SPAR2026.auctria.events

So please — SHARE, PRINT, POST, TEXT, TAG, TELL EVERYONE. 📣

And if you’re one of the amazing people willing to help distribute flyers, come grab a stack at the shelter! We have plenty. 😉

Because apparently getting cats adopted wasn’t enough work… now we’re asking you to become our professional auction advertising department. 😂🐱💜

SHARE. COMMENT. TAG. REPEAT.

Our team has been so extremely busy with intakes, its been beyond ridiculous. Trapping, owner surrenders, people showing up at our door with cats, people dropping off cats at Petsmart, found cats, abandoned cats, you name it, we got it.

We have a TON of new cats looking for forever homes. Kittens too. Many have been posted and some will still be posted later this week. So please check them out and share as much as you possibly can! 🤞

Cats of all kinds! Cats that would do best as an only cat. Cats that are great with other cats. Cats that are great with kids. Friendly cats. Cats who are a bit more timid but well worth the time and wait. Cats that you can just tell have had a rough past but need you most. Young. Middle aged. Short hair. Fluffy. Pairs. Get the idea?

Check them out here:

We shared Hijinks when Facebook was dealing with some sort of outage. We feel like this wasn't fair to this adorable floof. So we are sharing again so he can get the exposure he deserves!

With a name like Hijinks, you’d expect chaos.

Instead, Hijinks would like you to know that he’s currently hiding under a blanket.

This sweet 2-year-old came from a large hoarding situation and arrived covered in ticks, battling ear mites, and dealing with parasites. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and he’s ready to focus on his true passion: getting pets.

Visitors often pass by his blanket fort and assume he’s shy or uninterested. The truth? Hijinks just needs a minute. He may greet you with a hiss or two, but don’t be fooled—he’s absolutely terrible at being scary. A few gentle pets and suddenly the hissing stops, the headbutts begin, and he’s melting into your hands begging for more attention.

He loves head scratches, b***y scratches, and most of all... other cats. Having spent much of his life surrounded by feline friends, Hijinks would thrive in a home with a friendly cat companion.

Because he’s sensitive to loud noises and activity, he’s looking for a home without children under 10.

Hijinks may not be the cat who rushes to greet you, but if you’re willing to look beneath the blanket, you’ll discover one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. ❤️

Apply to adopt Hijinks today: https://form.jotform.com/250234822801145
