Mid-May Boarding Check-In! These dogs are the absolute best, I LOVE the energy we've got right now - so chill, so relaxed, absolutely a blessing in every single way.

Okay, a long training video for you... and more Barkley because the boy is brilliant and why not?!
Leave-It and Impulse Control is big for most dogs, but especially our puppies... they just want to DO! And that's awesome until the thing they want to do, grab, tug on, bite, etc. is no longer appropriate or safe. So we practice leaving things alone, especially in more realistic contexts like being outside, dropping food off a table, even something they were previously allowed to have but no longer can. Having a great leave-it (and out) is also super important for building cooperative play.

This video might seem a little boring to the average eye... it's anything but! One of the biggest things we practice when working public manners is teaching our dog how to do nothing. That's right, nothing! It's more than just a down stay, I want my dog to be comfortable while I shop, talk to employees, check out, sit down for coffee, etc. Barkley is absolutely rocking this and gets better at every single session!
