We love our local pet store!

You hear it all the time, Shop Small, Look Local First and other sayings. Yes, shopping local matters, you support the community, but more importantly, you get personal attention and service. Scott and Lori Sandahl have owned and operated Iowa Pet Foods & Seascapes for 35 years, that is A LOT of knowledge to benefit from. You don't get that from online shopping! Stop in, look around, come see why looking local makes a difference!!! We love our customers and would love to add more to our store family. We had a small group for trailing tonight so you know what that means: hard trails!!

Remi, Dexter, and Leroy rocked it! New lessons learned for the next time we do long trails and double blinds!

Congratulations to Emily and Scout for completing their training package! Scout has been working hard on emotional regulation and over arousal around squirrels. She and her mom have worked SO hard and have seen some really amazing progress - so proud of you both!

Last Week's afterschool pup club at Hanwalt Elementary got the joy of a very special friend of mine! Susie and her guide dog Becky joined us to talk about service dogs, how guide dogs are trained, and how to act around working dogs in public. We had so much fun!
