We live for the summer, and Limestone Creek Hunt hunter paces!
A great ride at Critz Farms and some of our prime hunt territory.
Wonderful cantering lanes, beautiful scenery and so many laughs.

Thank you to everyone who puts the energy into making these a must attend for all of us horse crazy "kids" (young and older alike).

The third and final day of the Tally Ho Intensive Eventing Camp came to and end yesterday, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of the attendees! We had horse inspections, cross country practice and a pizza party!

Because this is an innaguaral camp, we decided that every year we are going to give the "Izzy" award, which is in honor of one of our wonderful students that was taken from us too soon. Izzy was the epitome of a good horsewoman, and always made time to help others.
Our first recipient of this award was Emery McCoy.
Congratulations!!

We are sad the camp came to and end but we are already thinking of ways to make the next one even bigger and better, including inviting others that are not currently in our program!

We cannot thank enough our instructors, barn hands and our special unicorns, for the best 3 days so far this summer!

🌼Summer Intensive Eventing Camp, Day 2! Show Jumping!! 🌼

The participants measured, set, walked and rode the course they made! So much learning!

Tomorrow we are on to our modified cross country practice!

First step, riding away from friends!

🌼Our Summer Intensive Eventing Camp for our students started today with Dressage! We learned about the 2 Golden Rules of riding(forward and straight) had a demo with our resident young Friesian, Joy and rode varying dressage test components as well as put one together!
After a great morning, we talked about course building and prepared on paper a course to set for tomorrow's show jumping. 🤩

Thank you Hunters Landing for a wonderful horse show day! Even with truck troubles, we managed to stitch together a convoy to get to the show and it was super!
2 of our diehard leadliners gave the walk division a try and had so much fun! Congratulations Gabby and Madalyn! 💝

Estelle pulled out her hunter flair with shaggy, the master himself to have some great trips in the novice. Very large division and Estelle got a second in her equitiation on the flat 🥰

The two adult ammys had great fun too! Super job Heather and 4 year old luna on your hunter undersaddle win! As well as your first time over some fences. I know I forced you but you did show up "just to school" with your show clothes so there ya have it 😘

Bailey and Queen Carolina pulled off an awesome hunter under saddle round winning first place, as well as some stellar riding over fences. 💙💙💙

And then our jumpers aria and Raquel and Ella and ro po had their turn!
Both girls and had blazing fast table 2 section 2b trips, pulling off a 1st and second, and then
I got to take my " baby" horse that I've been developing for a "few years" and tool around. It was a dream come true.

We are so thankful for barns like Hunters Landing for putting these shows on. Without local shows how would we grow as riders!!
