I am so well- trained. The window seat wasn't back up yet. Joy's on the sill. Pawed at the window, all the while looking at me. She gets down and tries to sit on the window seat on the floor. She walks over me. She gets on the sill again. Back on me. Pacing around... OK, Joy, I remember you didn't run away- stop looking at the slider. FINE. So. Freaking. Smart.

I know it's because they know they're "finally" safe from strangers and they play on Mom's guilt. (No fat shaming, please with Zeus' health right now, eating is essential until we get him stabilized.)
