"Course clear!"

Rats in the Straw is currently closed for the season. I am going to miss you all very much but am looking forward to us reconnecting come spring when the nice weather reappears.

For anyone looking to get started in Barn Hunt or practice before the upcoming December trials keep an eye out for shared posts below, as Blue Phantom Dog training will have her course open for a bit longer.

If anyone’s looking to get in a couple last minute hunt(s) before the trial, Blue Phantom Dog Training is offering a spooktacular training opportunity!

Don’t forget the upcoming Spooktacular Rat Hunt event! Monday evening 6-8 PM, $40 a dog. Practice runs for Novice & Open levels with professional trainer on site to help you with your dog. Larger search area available plus 2-3 turn tunnels.
Come have some Halloween fun!

Human/Dog costumes optional!

Thank you everyone who replied to my earlier post. I’m responding to messages now and confirming appointments for this weekend!!

Please check your messages - FB does have a tendency to put things all over the place and I hate to miss anyone that’s looking to practice.

If you can’t get in this Memorial Day weekend - don’t worry. The course will continue through June Some weekday evening (after 8pm) are also available upon request.

Hey Everyone!

It’s been a busy spring with dog shows and trials but things are finally slowing down on my end and I can get back to offering Barn Hunt training! 😃
The course will open back up starting Saturday May 28th and will run each weekend there after. I’ll be offering: Rat introductions, Private lessons, private hunts and group hunts.
I’m also working on moving the course outdoors! Will have a bigger playing field, more secure fencing and new challenges for all our experienced hunters!

Rat introductions are FULL for this weekend.

Group hunts available on Saturday 26th!
*Group hunts are a great way for an experienced dog to practice on a course. Groups are kept small and everyone runs separately*

12pm-1pm

1:30pm-2:30pm

2pm-4pm.

If you’d like to join a group hunt. Please message me with a time that works best for you.
