Thinking about getting a puppy for Christmas? I can help before you even bring one home.
We can talk about what you want in a dog, what your everyday life looks like, and which breeds and breeders might be a good fit for your family.
I also offer the option of raising and training your puppy for you, helping with the early challenges and building good habits before they come home.
This is Waddle. I picked her up from the breeder and have been raising and training her since. Some days that looks like obedience. Other days it’s sitting by a creek, letting her explore and learn about the world.
If you’re considering a puppy, message me. Let’s get you started with the right dog and a plan.

What does that little click actually mean?
It tells the dog, “YES. That right there is what I wanted,” and lets them know a reward is coming.

The clicker helps me mark the exact moment the dog gets something right. Clear communication means less guessing and helps the dog understand what we’re teaching.

Before we expect our dogs to listen, we have to teach them what we’re asking.

What’s ONE thing you wish your dog would do better? Tell me in the comments.

I have openings for training at Blue Ridge Dog Training in West Union, SC. If you’re tired of the pulling, jumping, or being ignored when you call, send me a message. Let’s get to work.

Year End Board and Train Special!

Book by December 31 and save $250 on our four week board and train program. This applies to my last 2 November spots, 3 December spots, and any available 2027 session!

A few years ago, I donated a patrol harness to a local K9 handler and his partner. That dog went on to have a phenomenal career and is now enjoying retirement.
The other day, I got this picture of his new partner with the message, “Still using this harness years later.”
As a former deputy, supporting our local officers and their K9 partners means a lot to me. Pretty cool to see that harness still getting put to work with his new partner
