"I died today. I ate a mouse that was poisoned... A woman found me. I was so sick. She took me inside to be warm. I I opened my eyes to thank her for making my last few minutes as comfortable as possible. But I was too sick. I closed my big eyes for the last time and went somewhere else. PLEASE DO NOT USE poison to kill rats or mice. Poison kills owls. All I wanted was a mouse for dinner. I died today. ... It's so sad."

During this Stay-at-home advisory what do you do if you can’t get your fur baby to your groomer? To begin, try brushing your dog a few times a week for a few minutes at a time to create a routine.
I recommend a slicker brush or pin brush for long hair (and a metal comb). For short hair, use a deshedding comb or rubber brush (curry brush). Regular brushing alone can accomplish a great deal in the way of good grooming. “
Brushing is the key to keeping your dog clean. I don’t recommend a lot of bathing, but If you are going to bathe your dog, brush first to get the heavy dirt out.” Putting your dog in a bath before brushing just makes for dirty bath water and an even dirtier dog.
I am thinking of all of my wonderful customers and I am missing all of you pet parents and fur babies . I’d also want to say thank you for your loyalty and I am hoping everyone is well and healthy and I hope this pandemic ends soon, so we can get back to normal again.

Our hearts are with the people around the world who have been affected by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. Responding safely and immediately is not only our responsibility, but our way to show appreciation for those who make The Pawsitive Look possible. The Pawsitive Look has made the decision to do our part to help prevent the further spread of this virus by implementing the recommended 6ft social distancing by the WHO and CDC and through temporarily closing our grooming salon. And I have a shortcut for you to get here with a $5.00 Off the regular grooming price (Valid until Oct. 1st) Don't go through Memorial Ave. W. Springfield, enter on Union St. and then take a right into the Big Lots parking lot and travel on the little road behind Big Lots,Harbor Freight and Price Rite and that will bring you right to Gate 9, then take a right and another right into our parking lot. Proceeds from this event directly benefits the medical services and enrichment programs for animals in need at Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center. There will be free parking!!!
