K9SW’s Annual Howl-O-Ween Sniffer Southwick MA on multiple dates - Nov 5, 6, 7 (and possibly 4 or 8 see below).
What: Annual Howl-O-Ween Sniff Thru (a true Halloween "immersion" sniffer for dogs and humans; sights, sounds, and indeed smells will transport you to an otherworld fully immersive All Hallows Eve experience)
Who: teams on B, A, C not pairing; (if you have a dog who is pairing please reach out to me to see if there are any options). Teams on human remains and narcotics are welcome; please contact me.
Where: Southwick MA (with the option of Granby CT as an alternative site if something catastrophic happens)
When: November 5th (Thurs), 6th (Fri), 7th (Sat)
NOTE: Wed 4th can be used as an overflow or weather date OR in a rare circumstance Sun Nov 8th as a weather date; handlers sign up for the day that was weather compromised would get choice of refund, transfer, or the time they needed on the rescheduled date.
Run time: scaredy cats can come late afternoon BUT those who want the full Halloween experience should plan to come in the evening (see reg info).
Format: Multiple judges and, as always, new animatronics again this year!! Handlers can expect to be away from their vehicles for about 1 hour and move seamlessly from judge to judge; so expect MANY search experiences, PLENTY of hides (these bigger sniffer often have 25-30 hides), and lots of fun. (Note: the foggy graveyard will be a bit brighter this year based on feedback from last year)
Family: You're welcome to bring family along to enjoy the evening. We can modify the lightning, noise, animatronics, etc as needed so that teams are successful.
Registration Info Required: You need to tell me if you are a scaredy cat (daylight sniffing) or a daredevil (sniffing during twilight and after dark), the DATE you want, and the dog(s) you're registering. If you have any hard time restrictions, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you but the wider the window the more likely you will get in that time frame before someone else takes it as I can put you right in to one of the slots in that time frame.
Dates & Times: If you have a second date/time preference, please let me know in your initial email. If you only give me one date/time option and your preference is already filled (time stamps first in, first served) I will reach out to you to see if we can find something that works but giving me a second option would be helpful. Our goal with these multiple days is to accommodate handler’s busy schedules, especially because we 1. LOVE THIS SNIFFER SO MUCH and 2. it takes DAYS to set up, so we want folks to enjoy our hard work.

Payment via PP: $105
PP process: I will send you a PP invoice that is due within 48 hrs of the time stamp on the invoice to secure your preferred date and time; invoices not paid will be cancelled and the original choice of dates/time will be back on the market so to speak. You'll need to send me a new registration email if your invoice is cancelled due to lack of payment and I will let you know if your original date request is available. I am sorry to have to do this but at a recent sniffer people were waiting until last minute to pay and admin wise it is challenging to keep track and if there is a waitlist it is not fair to them.
