Meet Simon, the pint-sized pup with a heart of gold! He's mastered the command "let's go in house," but you might need to do a stealthy approach and ask him to lay down for a pick-up if he hasn’t dashed in with the rest of the crew. Simon’s a social butterfly-in-training who’d thrive with another dog or, heck, a whole pack of ten to show him the ropes in his new life.
Crate-trained and a snooze aficionado, he sleeps soundly in his crate in the bedroom at night. As his foster mom, I’ve noticed he’s a social creature and wouldn’t be happy flying solo. When we’re out, he’s a cool cucumber in his crate, and at home, he’ll find his way to an open crate for a nap. Simon loves a good cuddle session in a chair, but you’ll need to make the first move. Picture this: “Simon, we’re going to cuddle!” “Alright, foster mom, I’m game!” He’s not fazed by men or women, though he’s still a mystery to kids and cats.
Housebreaking and leash training are works in progress, but he’s not a barker—just a polite announcer when guests arrive. This smart cookie needs some time to get comfy and shed his shyness, but he’s destined to be a fantastic companion. All he needs is love, patience, and a peaceful home.
