Best In Veteran Sweepstakes, 1st in Veterans Dogs and Award of Merit in Specialty Show at the Pacific Rim Golden Retriever Club of Oregon.

Wow! What a pleasure to show my boy last weekend. I am so proud of him at 8 ½ years looking so good and having a fun time in the ring. Just think, a few weekends before, out in the field he flushed a pheasant, tracked it deep into the briars, and came barreling back out, bird in mouth. Show dog. Bird dog. Total Golden.

Special thanks to Chandler Becker for preparing Storm for the show and presenting him in Best of Breed. And thanks again Chandler for taking him all the way to Veteran Best in Show including a Select at the Silver Falls KC Show last month. You are extraordinary in what you do.

Thank you Christina Marley (Sweepstakes) and Sidney Marx (Best of Breed) for appreciating Storm. Kudos to the PRGRCO for putting on a well-run and fun Specialty Show.

Today at the very wet PSLRA Hunt Test Ranger finished his 4 passes for the AKC Junior Hunter title! He loves this work.

Even though I wasn't there to jump and down and cry with excitement, I heard that a lot of that was going on by friends at the show when he finished his championship winning Best of Winners. Thank you all for cheering for Ranger and for your kind comments.
And congratulations to many of my friends for their spectacular wins at the Northwest Cluster in Lynden.

So now good luck to all at the Inland Empire Specialty and Spokane shows this weekend.

Chandler Thomas Becker thank you for this wonderful journey. Hope you and Ranger have a fun showing this weekend.

It was especially fun yesterday at our first Hunt test of the year. Cascade Hunting Retriever Club put on a great test and the weather was perfect. So good to see so many friends cheering each other on. Happy and proud that Amelia (finely) earned her Started Hunting Retriever title. And then I got dunked!

What a great time we had at the Chintimini KC Shows. Dazzle and Ranger were in the ribbons and best of all Ranger won his first Major on Friday going Best of Winners!!!! Many thanks to judge Wendy Boce and our awesome handler Chandler Thomas Becker.

Fun time at Pacific Rim Golden Retriever Club of Oregon Specialty show. Dazzle 4th in 9-12 Puppy Sweeps, Storm in Stud Dog with Dazzle and Ranger (what a handful), and Storm in Hunting Dog. We truly enjoyed the day. Judges Kimberly Abbott and Dr. Daniel Dowling. Special thanks to Chandler Becker for all that you do. And to Kim Bullard for helping out in Stud Dog.

Ranger was more than willing to fetch the duck and bring back to me. Never too late to start. There was a lot of exuberance and he got the hang of it real quick. Atta boy Ranger!
