As most of you probably already know, I am moving to a whole new area end of June, I will no longer be taking outside horses at Wild Winds Ranch in West Salem, WI as of now. We are booked up until then!

With that being said, I will be back up and running middle to end of July! I will be taking horses then! Message me for bookings, details and/or questions!

📣 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

With a lot of planning & discussing we are MOVING to a whole new location. Whole new town and state!!

We will be located in Rock City, Illinois at KC Ranch & Stables. Just about 3hrs south of West Salem.

With that being said, I wanted to make this post to inform yall that I will be having LIMITED SPOTS & DEADLINES to bring horses to Wild Winds in West Salem.

C**t Starting - Deadline April 30th
Tune ups (30 days) - Deadline May 30th. If more than 30 days, deadline will have to be sooner.
All horses will be going home no later than July 8th.

I will be continuing my training starting middle of July, possibly sooner at the new location! I will be posting updates throughout these next few months!

I am so excited and ready for this opportunity!! Though I am so very sad I am leaving this area as I have made so many clients and friends throughout this journey here at Wild Winds Ranch, I feel that this is a huge step up towards my future!
I hope to still see some familiar faces in the future!

Armarillo (3yo)
He just came yesterday for my c**t starting program and he is FRESH outta the bakery kind of c**t😉 He’s gonna be fun!! I’m really excited for this boys journey!

We did the round penning exercise today which went SO good!! Taught him to tie which went good!! Yielding his hindquarters, desensitizing, & poll pressure to lower his head! He got real sweaty today, but you know what they always say, a sweaty horse is a GOOD horse! 👍🏻😁

Happy Birthday to this young lady here!! She brings me laughter every time she comes down to the barn. She is SO driven to learn about the training methods I use! She is also one heck of a rider! From just spending some time with me last summer she will be a very great horseman one day! So thankful for all her help as well! Love ya, Kiddo!💕 Have a great day & go ride your horse!😉

Miss CeeCee went home this past weekend! Stephanie brought her mare to me last summer & again this winter! She has come so far in the 4 months she’s been with me! She was a joy to work with! Can’t wait for all our future trail riding & campng adventures!! I’m so looking forward to it!!🤗

Miss Lena had her first ride this morning! 👏🏻🔥 She handled it like a pro! 4th saddling & 1st ride I think that’s a record for me😅😋

If your c**t has 100% good ground work(including flexing & lunging) then they will get more rides while they’re here in my c**t starting program for 60 days! 😉

Let’s talk about training sessions in time frame!
I have this mare that just came to me to get started. She’s extremely nervous when she’s not with another horse. She gets impatient and doesn’t stand still & when tying or leading her she pushes me around. That doesn’t go through me so I have to correct and fix that behavior immediately! That there is allll apart of her training session. That also includes grooming & eventually for c**ts tacking up them up as well. They have to stand nice and still in my eyes. When she has changed her behavior and acting better then I go on with her session in the arena and continue what I was working with her in the previous day(s).

I work horses 1-2hrs a day and when I have horses like her it starts when I catch them in the pasture to letting her go back into the pasture. Horses have 22hrs to fart around and do whatever they want on their own time, but when it’s time to be with me in those 1-2hrs, they better have respect and listen to the things I ask them to do without any fits. They all learn that in my program!

Get your horses in my books!

Hope you all are having a good new year so far!

I will have some news here soon that I will share eventually, but as of now I am having deadlines for c**ts and horses being sent out for 30 days. I have big plans later this year so I am preparing for you all and your horses!

C**ts Being Started:
June 1st-9th, 2025 is the deadline to bring your c**t to get started as I have a 60 day minimum.

30 Day Training:
July 1st-9th, 2025 is the deadline for horses coming for a tune up, refresher, conditioning, etc

All horses will need to leave the facility between August 1st through the 9th at the end of their training.

Lessons
There will be a 1 month hold off in the month of August. I will not be available to book lessons then. I will start back up September 1st.
