Silver Dog will begin the process of reopening with Grooming starting on May 11 followed by Day Care and Boarding on May 18. All reservations will require a minimum of 24 hours notice to enable us to ensure proper staffing.
Be assured that we are following strict protocols to ensure the safety of you, your pets and our staff with NO CONTACT delivery and pick up. Silver Dog has been your trusted partner for 25 years in the care of your pets and we will get through this together.

To our Silver Dog friends and family,

We understand how difficult these times are for each of us. We all are making sacrifices and attempting to work through the uncertainty while making decisions that protect ourselves, our families and our guests.

We, like you, are having to make adjustments and decide how to best continue to serve our clients and their pets while doing everything possible to keep our clients and employees safe. We are responding to the developing updates on Covid-19 and planning for what may occur in the coming weeks. Our Silver Dog team members are proactively and diligently sanitizing our lobby and office area with pet safe products to ensure the safety of all of our guests.

Many essential personnel depend on us to care for their pets while they continue to perform their duties and we have determined that we will remain open for Boarding, Daycare and Grooming services. We ask that all reservations be made at least 24 hours in advance in to assist us with staffing during this time.

Silver Dog Bed & Biscuit and our employees have proudly served our community and guests for almost 25 years and we look forward to continuing to serve our clients in a professional and safe manner. To assist us to better serve you we ask that you continue to make your reservations either through our website or by calling our office. Silver Dog was shocked and saddened to hear about Bear's passing. He became part of our crew when he was just a young pup, and continued to bring smiles to all of our faces through the years. Everybody knew Bear, and everybody loved Bear. It was impossible not to. The staff would refer to him as 'The Gatekeeper'. He would stand (or more accurately, lay) in front of the daycare gate, and wouldn't budge unless he saw pets being given out.

We are all so thankful to have known such an incredible dog, and our hearts go out to his family while they say goodbye. ❤️

We were so heartbroken to hear that Barney passed away. We loved Barney here at Silver Dog as if he were our own dog. We knew this day was coming, but that doesn’t make it hurt any less. Although we will miss him and we know he will miss everyone here on earth, we can only imagine how happy Barney must be now that he is reunited with his past brother, Fred. Run free, boys. And Barney, please give Fred a hug for us and tell him that we miss him too. 💔🌈🐾

No death is easy. But you were too young JJ.
We were so saddened to hear of JJ’s passing today. She was so loved here at Silver Dog and her quirky personality made her a favorite among our staff. What we wouldn’t give to see you walk through those doors again. 💔 R.I.P. sweet girl. You will never be forgotten. We know you are running free, playing with all the stuffed toys you can get your paws on. We will see you again over the rainbow bridge. 🐾🌈
