He's doing well on his house and crate training, sitting, and walking on a leash. He's going to be a large and handsome boy full grown. 🥰❤️🐾

Running a small business is getting HARD. 💔

Just one example: a 1" metal buckle that used to cost me about $2 is now $6.95 — PLUS a $5 import charge. And “buy American” isn't always an option. Most of this hardware is manufactured overseas, and American-made alternatives are often just as expensive.

I've fought hard not to raise my prices. Then I saw another small dog-collar business announce they were closing because they simply couldn't afford the rising material costs anymore. That broke my heart.

This is what tariffs and rising costs look like for small businesses. We pay more for materials, try to absorb what we can, and eventually those costs reach consumers.

Meanwhile, wealth continues concentrating at the top. When working- and middle-class people have money, they spend it at restaurants, stores, repair shops, and small businesses like mine. That money goes right back into our communities.

How long is this sustainable?

For now, Sweetie-Pie Collars is going to keep fighting to keep our products fun, handmade, high-quality AND reasonably priced. 🐾❤️

When you shop small, you're not making some corporation richer.

You're helping someone's little business survive. And right now, that means more than ever. ❤️

The “FEELIN FANCY” in the background absolutely sent us. 😂

This is one of our favorite parts of making things for your pups, getting to see them actually wearing their Sweetie-Pie goodies! We put so much love into every piece, so pictures like this seriously make our day.

🐾 What an amazing day we had at this past Saturday! 💕

We had so much fun meeting so many wonderful people and, of course, getting lots of puppy kisses! 🐶💖 Seeing your pups strut around in their new collars, harnesses, bandanas, bow ties, and pearls absolutely made our day.

A huge thank you to City Paws Pet Club for inviting us out and for putting together such a fantastic event. We truly appreciate the opportunity to be part of such a fun, pet-loving community.
We also want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth, said hello, supported our small business, and shared stories about your furry family members. Your support means the world to us! ❤️
