Elite Dogs Training & Boarding Elite Dogs is a unique dog training and boarding facility.

It features deluxe yet affordable air-conditioned and heated kennels and a swimming pool. With over twenty five years of experience, we not only train dogs, but provide expert guidance to our clients through personal handler instruction. We have experience working with both exotic and domestic animals (with the emphasis on dog training). Our experience includes training working dogs and sport dogs

as well as general obedience and behavior problem solving. Our training style has been developed through years of experience and from techniques used by top trainers from Germany, Switzerland, France and the United States. We have taken the best methods and philosophies to create what we believe are the most effective training programs available.

Happy Thursday!

This is Ranger and he’s looking for a forever home.

He is a two year old purebred neutered male and has lots of love and energy.

He needs a home that can help him continue his training journey, as he can be rambunctious. He needs a loving, but strong handler who is capable of giving him the proper boundaries.

He can be a little dominant, but with the proper handling and clear guidelines, he is a sweet and obedient addition to any home. We recommend a family who has not had any kids yet or the kids are a little older, to be able to give him lots of their attention.

He is free to a good home and comes with a couple of free sessions from Elite Dogs to help settle into his new home with his needed boundaries and to go over all the commands he already knows to keep his brain growing.

(While he can be very sweet with the neighborhood cats, he does get a little curious. And, he has, in the past, had a high prey drive and before training had already taken down a couple of opossums in his back yard.)

We have a handsome big boy, Duke, who is in need of a new home. He’s a Sheepdog/German Shepherd mix, about 100 lbs, and low energy. He would be best suited in a single-dog household. He warms up to adults in the household quickly and is gentle with kids. Duke enjoys sunbathing and snuggling. We'd be happy to coordinate a meet and can also add in some training sessions for free to a good home. Thanksgiving tips for your furry ones:
- cooked turkey bones are sharp and can cause damage inside their bodies
- many human foods are poisonous to dogs: raisins, chocolate, onions, grapes, and many baking ingredients
- be sure no one is sneaking them food and that they are not left unattended with any reachable niblets.

Elite Dogs Training and Boarding, a family run business in West Sacramento is looking for another great personality to join our team! We are a small group that only employs those with a positive attitude! We maintain a staff of excellent personalities that love caring for dogs. We house up to 50 dogs at a time and we offer a variety of services to our clients: boarding, training, pool/play time, bath/nails, and more. Our 20 years of success is mostly due to the dedication to our staff's happiness and promoting an environment of positivity and camaraderie.

A positive attitude and care/compassion for animals is a must! Elite Dogs is open 7 Days per week, including holidays, and we operate from 6AM - 9PM and we are looking for someone with an open schedule. Punctuality is very important in this role.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to: Bathing, feeding, exercising/cleaning dogs in our care and other general client/business needs. This is a physically demanding role at times and requires someone physically capable of working with larger dogs when needed. We have many safety precautions in place to keep our staff and the dogs in our care safe at all times. Although this role requires very little customer service, some customer service experience is a plus. Full time positions include medical, dental, vision and life benefit options.

☀️Memorial Day Holiday☀️

Happy May All!

Hope everyone’s month is going very well. Summer boarding is filling up!

Please remember that our doggies don’t understand that loud noises and large groups are a way people celebrate and honor those who have served us.
- Beware of discarded food dropped on the ground.
- If they’re going swimming, life jackets are always recommended, especially in crowded water areas.
Often times these celebrations are just a scary event for our four legged friends. Even inside, it can be beneficial to have them on leash with you during fire works. ☺️

*If you have scheduled reservations with us this weekend, but no longer need them, please let us know.
We have many on a wait list, looking for a safe place to board their dogs for the holiday.
(We are completely full for many weekends this summer and rely on cancellations and change of plans to make space.)*
